Debate "Confrontation" Parking places in the city of Prizren

30.03.2015 The Forum Transparency held today the tenth debate of the cycle “Confrontation” on the topic of “Parking Places in the City of Prizren”, with the participation of the following panel members, Mr. Hasan Hasani, Director of the Directorate of Public Services; Mr. Ilir Baldedaj, Director of the Directorate of Administration; and Mr. Avdi Kryeziu from the Kosovo Police, under the moderation of journalist Valbona Musliu, Transparency Forum member.

The discussion tackled the topics related to the current situation of public parking spaces, how they are given for use, their benefits for the municipal budget, etc, with the focus on the legal basis related to public space given for use to persons or operators involved in this activity, private parking spaces and their control by the responsible authorities. The traffic safety challenges coming as a result of illegal parking and other issues were also discussed.  

Panel members discussed with the Transparency Forum members, representatives of political parties from the opposition in Prizren and representatives of KTK in Prizren.
