MEST RE-NAMES THE SCHOOL OF MAMUSHA

On Wednesday EC Ma Ndryshe was informed by the officials of MEST that the Minister Ramë Buja has signed the decision for re-naming of the Primary Secondary Low School in Mamuşa/Mamushë from “Haxhi Ymer Lutfiu” into PSLS “Anadolu”.

The issue of the re-naming of this school had remained unsolved since 2011.

EC Ma Ndryshe has reported on this issue in June 2013, (link to the press release http://www.online-transparency.org/repository/docs/ATT00092.pdf), while months ago it requested information from the MEST on the course of this process. This week EC Ma Ndryshe was informed that Minister Buja has acted in this regard in line with the request of the Municipality of Mamuşa/Mamushë.

Project "Online Transparency of Prizren, Mamushë and Pristina municipalities" from September 2012, is financially supported by the British Embassy in Pristina. In the first phase for six months (March-August 2012) the project was supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS)
